Poor Jenetta has no idea what her aunts are about to do with her.
Kelley and Amy are doing a cast of Jenetta's hands and feet. She did not appreciate the temperature of the casting solution.

The results were worth the struggle though.

Jenetta was destined to be a star so she go put under the lights for her first week here. However she demanded that her mama sat with her. So I got a tan and Jenetta got her numbers down from 23 to 12. Yeah for modern technology.

We are so excited to have a baby girl. She is beautiful and very good natured. Her big brothers really adore her. She is going to be well protected. So many friends and ward members have brought gifts and food in the last ten days. I feel like we have a revolving front door. The boys have been loving all the food, but I cant believe how many cute little dresses and outfits people have brought. Maybe everyone is worried I would dress her in overalls and cowboy boots. Thank you to everyone.

Here is my top ten reasons for being a blog failure.

1. I went back to college full time last August. I dont know what in the #$%^ I was thinking.

2. I am primary President which might explain the #$%^ above. Of course Kelley and Cassie are primary presidents also but they dont have potty mouths.

3. I am pregnant with my 5th child. This one is a girl the first four were just practice. And they do explain the #$%^ potty mouth. Did I mention I am very pregnant.

4. I hope my bishop or primary counselors never find my blog and I hope all three of my blogging friends can forgive my #$%^.

5. My little sister is on a mission in Straud England and I probably ought to write her a letter before she comes home in three months.

6. My husband thinks the website for our company should take precidence. http://www.idahorailing.com/

7. My twelve year old over acheiving and good looking son is a great cook but he is too busy doing laundry and dishes.

8. My belley is so #$%^ big I cant reach the keyboard.

9. I can only remember about ten people I went to High School with and yes you are one of them.

10. My kids think dinner is more important then blog updates and my husband only makes Macaroni and Cheese with hamburger.

*Did I mention the fact that I am very pregnant.

PS I dont really #$%^ I just really feel like it because I am counting down the minutes until I am no longer pregnant.

Danny is such a great brother. He taught Matt to ski while his other friends left him for the bigger lifts and his very pregnant mom yelled from the side of the mountain.

In our grand family tradition of holding up the newest member of the church Christopher stands high above the crowd wishing he was still on the floor.

Lots of family came to his baptism along with friends and his primary teacher.

Thank You to everyone who drove down to see him.

We went to tour the Draper Temple on 24th. The boys thought the tour busses from the Stake Center to the Temple were cool. Matthew loved the baptismal font. He stood at the top of th steps looking at the water for a long time, very queitly. The volunteers behind probably thought he was in reverent reflection. I know however that he was calculating the punishment associated with taking a swim and whether or not the pros would outweigh the cons.

Danny received the Aaronic Priesthood on January 17th. He enjoys getting to pass the sacrament. He had quite the eventful first couple of weeks in his new position as a priesthood holder. In our ward full of old people an Aaronic Priesthood holder walks around with a microphone on fast Sunday for people to bear their testimony. While the line was empty he just started talking in the mic. to bear his testimony I was very proud. The next week he had to talk in sacrament meeting and did a great job. At his first YW/YM meeting he went to he accidentally stood up with the girls first instead of waiting for the boys to recite theme. His friends gave him crap about that one. He also got to go to the Logan Temple to do baptisms for the dead. My friend Linda had 27 boy names and Danny did them all for her. Craig was watching him. Craig said he was worried Danny might drown after 20 names. The guy doing the baptisms spoke really fast and Danny barely got a breath in between each dunk. He said he really loved doing it and we all went out to dinner afterwards.

Here is our Christmas Eve party this year. Were actually missing alot of family, but we still had enough for a party. We all decorated Gingerbread houses in Grandpa Ferrins tradition. Uncle Dewayne read the Christmas story out of the Bible and we sang Christmas Carroll's while Tallen played the guitar. For the first year ever we gave up the cooking and cooked frozen lasagna. I think that was a great idea.

It snowed a little on Christmas day making the drive to Poky a little long but we drove Craigs 4 wheel drive and kept Lad and Krystal on the phone as we crossed the top of the Malad Pass. Lad lives on top of the pass and has two snowmobiles and a tractor so we knew he could rescue us. We were pushing snow with the front bumper in the middle of the freeway growing about 20mph with the 4 wheel drive on. The freeways were closed for awhile but we were already on it and they didn't makes us get off. I took a couple of hours but we made it to Pocatello for the annual gift exchange and dinner.

We saw a county snow plow stuck between the North and South bound lane at the crest of the summit on Christmas afternoon. The truck was buried above the windows. This isn't it I found this pic on the Internet and it doesn't do the story justice but it shows the size of the truck.

Danny is plucking the feathers from his first kill. A large turkey his face shows his pure joy in his job. ha ha. He did really enjoy the camping and hunting trip. Craig and Danny cooked the turkey for sunday dinner it was pretty good.

We canoed across Jenny's Lake. Craig, Danny and Matt in one canoe and Chris Dale and I in the other. When we reached the other side of the lake we hiked up to Hidden Falls. The boys all said they would rather do that again then to go to Lagoon or Knott's Berry Farm.

We took a great family vacation in September to Jackson Hole and Driggs Id. We forgot the camera so these are shots from my phone. Chris loved the huge moose we saw

Dale and Danny loved the fact that they caught the moose taking a dump.

I Had to pay Chris $20 to be the ring bearer for Sabrinas wedding Then it turns out he enjoyed it. I was still out th $20. To make matters worse he bought a skateboard with the money. I definately was not paying for his skill level because he lost the grooms ring and walked down the isle with only one ring. The ceremony was put on hold for a couple of minutes but it seemed like an eternity while we looked for the ring. The photographers husband found it in the grass below the rock Chris had been sitting on while waiting for his turn.
